Project objective

The University of Wuppertal is cooperating with Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania, Cranfield University in the UK and the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland as part of the Knowledge-Empowered Entrepreneurship Network (KEEN). KEEN is a project funded by the European Commission's Horizon 2020 initiative. The aim of this project is to create a strong network between the project partners and to exchange knowledge, particularly in the field of entrepreneurship research. In this context, approaches to the development of entrepreneurial skills, research collaboration, stakeholder involvement and entrepreneurial support systems will be jointly developed, exchanged and discussed. In particular, this will strengthen the entrepreneurial research competences of Kaunas University of Technology, improve its capacity to utilise and disseminate its research results and further develop its ability to involve the public in its research and entrepreneurial awareness, understanding and acceptance of entrepreneurship.

The activities of the University of Wuppertal within KEEN include the development of a knowledge management strategy for the partners, the joint submission of a grant application and the organisation of workshops on research ownership management, intellectual property rights and dissemination of research results.
