Final theses
Deadlines
For theses to be written in the summer semester, the application deadline is 15 January; for theses in the winter semester, the deadline is 15 June.
We will decide within four weeks whether to accept the applicant. If the candidate does not accept the offer of supervision within two weeks, other applicants may move up.

Application documents
In order to guarantee intensive supervision and prompt evaluation of the theses, we have to limit the number of theses supervised in parallel due to staffing capacities at the chair. Interested candidates can apply to the secretary's office with the following documents:
- Cover letter/letter of motivation with desired research focus
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form
- Transcript of grades (overview of previous grades in the degree programme)
- Optional: If you have already developed a specific research question, it is possible to submit a short synopsis as part of your application. This should be approximately three pages long and, in addition to explaining the research question(s), should also briefly describe the planned theoretical and methodological approach.

Please send your application by email to Sek-LS-Volkmann{at}wiwi.uni-wuppertal.de. You are welcome to CC your preferred supervisor and address the cover letter to them.
